60 Free CCDO Labourer Card Pathway Places

The National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC), in partnership with the National Demolition Training Group (NDTG), is offering 60 free Certificates of Competence of Demolition Operative (CCDO) Labourer Card pathway places for eligible individuals looking to start a career in demolition.

Each learner pathway includes both the CCDO Labourer and Asbestos Awareness training courses, delivered online or at our training centre in Hemel Hempstead. Candidates must complete the required Operative Health, Safety & Environment test before undertaking the training course.

Applicant Requirements

To apply for a free CCDO Labourer Card pathway place, you must be an individual learner and meet the course entry requirements.

You will need to show that you have passed the required Operative Health, Safety and Environment qualification before undertaking the training course, we recommend accomplishing this with CITB or NOCN, and you must be able to understand, communicate and read English for the course.

This is a full pathway offer. Successful applicants will be expected to complete both the CCDO Labourer and Asbestos Awareness training courses to achieve the CCDO Labourer Card.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must be individual learners, not companies applying for multiple staff places.
Applicants should be looking to start a career in demolition or move from CSCS towards a demolition-specific CCDO pathway.
Applicants who already hold a valid or expiring Asbestos Awareness or Labourer qualification are not eligible, as this opportunity is intended for new entrants to the industry.
Applicants must have passed the required Operative Health, Safety and Environment Test through CITB or NOCN, as confirmed by NDTG, before undertaking the training course. The test costs approximately £25 and must be paid by the applicant.
Applicants must be willing and available to complete both the CCDO Labourer and Asbestos Awareness training courses delivered online or at our training centre in Hemel Hempstead.
Applicants must be able to understand, communicate and read in English for the course.
Applicants must complete the registration form and provide any requested evidence before their place is confirmed.

What is the CCDO Labourer Card?
