Gary Bishop

Chairman

As a third-generation demolition man, Gary Bishop has been in demolition his whole life. Having previously served as both NDTG Chairman and NFDC President previously, Gary brings with him a wealth of experience as an industry leader in demolition.

Duncan Rudall

Chief Executive Officer

Duncan brings years of experience giving him a keen understanding of the standards required for both operatives and contractors. Also CEO for the National Federation of Demolition Contractors, Duncan ensures synergies between the two operations that result in raising standards across the entire UK demolition industry.

Lesley Ransome

Chief Financial Officer

Lesley supervises NFDC & NDTG finances. She has oversight of day-to-day operations for both businesses. With over 40 years of experience in the demolition industry, Lesley has been pivotal in the Training Group and Federation for the past eight years. She brings level-headed oversight to ensure that resources are invested wisely.

Carol Simpson

Office Manager

Carol brings extensive HR and administration experience to the team to ensure seamless collaboration between departments for the NFDC/NDTG. Her humanitarian approach, together with her management skills supports the development of competency across the organisation.

Iain Kirk

Training Officer

Iain is responsible for ensuring the NDTG team is fully aware of current industry news and changes in legislation. He liaises with NDTG trainers and audits courses to ensure an exemplary standard is maintained. He travels the length and breadth of the UK visiting demolition contractors to guide them with relevant and cost effective training solutions for up-skilling their workforce.

Alex Ellison

Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager for both NDTG and NFDC Alex works to keep the industry well-informed of the importance of skills and training for demolition operatives. An experienced marketer with a background in communications and transformation, Alex is a firm believer in continual learning and development at all levels.

John Grover

Graphic Designer

Pulling from a wealth of experience, John ensures that industry-leading training standards of the NDTG are effectively communicated through design. From print formats to digital assets, he ensures that high standards of our industry are conveyed on all channels with polished presentation.

Jake Grimison

Marketing Executive

A versatile member of the Marketing team for NDTG and NFDC, Jake is responsible for social media, email marketing, digital content creation and creating news stories for various channels. His multifaceted skills effectively engage audiences, drive campaigns, and highlight the industry's growth and skill development in demolition.

Maureen Cruz

Accounts Administrator

Maureen is responsible for NDTG Accounts. She seamlessly manages Finance and also has the important task of issuing CCDO cards to the demolition workforce following successful completion of training. Maureen ensures that NDTG's customers are invoiced at the correct value for money rates, based on membership status, special offers and funded course availability.

Sarah Cooke

Training Group Team Leader

Sarah has worked with NDTG for over a decade, and as a result her knowledge of demolition training is second to none. She is on hand to support the demolition workforce in finding the right training course and with progression from red cards to renewable Competent Operative cards through completion of NVQs.

Amy Watkin

Training Administrator

As part of the training administration team, Amy is happy to help with all course enquiries and ensuring demolition professionals are fully qualified and properly accredited. Amy can help guide individuals on their CCDO journey from labourer up to manager; and help companies ensure all their demolition operatives are up to date and at the right level.

Josh Fisher

Training Administrator

Josh, from the training administration team, is happy to help with course enquiries and ensuring demolition professionals have the right qualifications. He guides individuals through their CCDO journey and helps companies keep their operatives skilled and at the right level.    

TRAINING FACILITY

NDTG's primary training venue, based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. State-of-the-art training rooms are fully equipped with the latest AV technologies and a purpose built training workshop enables a practical and interactive experience for candidates.

NDTG delivers demolition training nationwide at selected venues in the North East, North West and Midlands, or you can opt to train at your own premises.

ACCREDITATIONS & AFFILIATIONS

  • The NDTG administers the CCDO Card Scheme (Certificate of Competence for Demolition Operatives) throughout the UK.
  • We are also a CPCS Accredited Centre offering categories of Plant specific to the Demolition Industry.
  • Our affiliated card schemes are qualified through a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ).
  • The NDTG is an Accredited NVQ Centre offering Level 1, Level 2, Level 3+, Level 4, and Level 6 qualifications.
  • We are an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) through CITB.
