CCDO Demolition Contracts Manager (5 Year Card)

The CCDO Demolition Contracts Manager Card is the most senior card available under the CCDO card scheme. Cardholders will be qualified to take on the full responsibility of a demolition project, from Client and Surveyor Liaison to regular communication with supervisors about the running of the site. Managers must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience to qualify for the 5-day course.  Red cardholders must complete NVQ Level 7 within the 3-year timeframe to convert the card to a fully qualified 5-year Black CCDO Contracts Manager card.

CCDO Demolition Contracts Manager (5 Year Card)

Duties

  • Managing all aspects of a demolition contract.
  • Liaison with the client's team.
  • Liaison with the work team.
  • Preparation, review and implementation of RAMS.
  • Liaise with surveyors, engineers, other trades and third party stakeholders.
  • Regular communication with supervisors.
  • Implementation of HSQE systems.

Pre-requisites

Must have sat and passed the 5 Day CCDO Demolition Managers Course and hold the red 3-year CCDO Managers card. To obtain the full 5-year Black Contracts Managers card you must have passed the Level 7 NVQ. Find out more about the course and check you have the right card:

You must hold a current Asbestos Awareness Certificate (as a minimum). Other higher level Asbestos Training will be accepted. You can only obtain your Asbestos Awareness Certificate through NDTG, UKATA, ARCA, or ACAD (not E-Learning). Find out more about the course with us:

Key Notes

The black card is valid for 5 years. This card is renewable. For card renewal, operatives will need to sit the 1-day Manager refresher course. For more information, contact NDTG on 01442 217 144 (option 2).
