CCDO Demolition Supervisor (3 Year Card)
The CCDO Demolition Supervisor card qualifies individuals to take responsibility for demolition operations on site, from planning and delivering site inductions to ensuring team communication is effective. Reporting directly to management, the Supervisor will also take control of implementation of HSQE systems. Supervisors will have at least 5 years’ experience working on demolition sites before they sit the 5-day course. The red card is valid for 3 years and is non-renewable. Red cardholders must complete NVQ Level 3+/4 within the 3-year timeframe to convert the card to a fully qualified Gold Supervisor card.
Duties
Responsible for demolition operations on site.
Regular communication and liaison with the work team.
Implementation and revision of RAMS.
Resident liaison.
Preparation and delivery of Site induction and task briefings.
Reporting to management.
Implementation of HSQE systems.
Tool Box Talk preparation and delivery.
Pre-requisites
Must have held a Demolition Chargehand card (5-Year). Direct entry if operative has a minimum of 5 years verified demolition industry experience. To obtain a fully qualified Demolition Chargehand card, you must meet all the pre-requisites for that card, have completed the 2-day course and passed NVQ Level 3. You must hold a current Asbestos Awareness Certificate (as a minimum). Other higher level Asbestos Training will be accepted. You can only obtain your Asbestos Awareness Certificate through NDTG, UKATA, ARCA, or ACAD (not E-Learning). Find out more about the course with us:
The red card valid for 3 years. This card is non-renewable. You must complete an NVQ level 3+ or level 4 within 3 years to convert your red Supervisor card to the gold Supervisor card. For more information, contact NDTG on 01442 217 144 (option 2).
