CCDO Demolition Labourer Course Details
The CCDO Demolition Labourer card is the first step in a Demolition qualification. Designed for individuals new to the industry or who are converting from labouring in general construction to the Demolition Industry.
Demolition Labourers assist teams of Demolition Refurbishment Operatives and Advanced Demolition Operatives in clearing arising from demolition processes. They may be tasked with ensuring the correct segregation of waste before removal from the demolition site.
Demolition Labourers can assist in the soft strip function under the guidance of a qualified Chargehand or Supervisor where required and use non-mechanically powered tools and cordless tools to remove fixings in support of that.
Course Pre-requisites:
- Operative Health, Safety and Environment Touch Screen Test
- Asbestos Awareness

- UKATA - E-Learning certification is not accepted
- IATP - Demolition Specific course and certificate from the online generator only, not E-learning (Online Training)

CCDO Demolition Labourer
The CCDO Demolition Labourer (Green) Card is the first step in the demolition career pathway. Designed for individuals new to the industry or who are converting from labouring in general construction to demolition. The CCDO Demolition Labourer course teaches site safety, waste disposal and emergency procedures, enabling holders of the card to perform general labouring duties under supervision.
Duties
- General labouring duties.
- Assist teams of CCDO Demolition Refurbishment Operatives and CCDO Advanced Demolition Operatives in the clearing arising from the demolition processes being undertaken and ensure the correct segregation of wastes prior to removal from the demolition site.
- • Assist in the soft strip function under the guidance of a CCDO Demolition Chargehand or CCDO Demolition Supervisor where required.
Pre-requisites
PLEASE NOTE: The CCDO Demolition Labourer (Green) Card is valid for 2 years. This card is renewable, however, most Labourers progress onto the Demolition & Refurbishment Operative card before renewal For card renewal, contact NDTG on 01442 217 144 (option 2).
